With the May Long Weekend just around the corner, it’s the perfect time to dive into worlds unknown, embark on thrilling adventures, or find solace in the quiet introspection that only the finest stories can provide. Whether you’re lounging by the lake, nestled in a cozy hammock, or soaking up the sun on your backyard patio, we invite you to join the unofficial Blue Rock Law Book Club. We have compiled a list of some of our teams most beloved reads:

Bookworm D: Any novel by Nora Roberts

Bookworm A: American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins (I do love me some Nora Roberts too)

Bookworm K: “Eat the Rich” - P.J. O’Rourke (Bonus favourite quote – “Cuban cigars are rationed in Cuba. That’s all you need to know about communism.”)

Bookworm M:  I’ve read Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton about 100 times so I’d start there. For this summer, “Barbarian Days: a Surfing Life” by William Finnegan is at the top of my list.

As the sun sets on the horizon and the gentle breeze of the upcoming summer nights beckons, we close the chapter on our curated list of this season’s must-reads. These books have taken us on a journey through laughter and tears, through mysteries solved and romances kindled, all from the comfort of our favorite reading nooks. Stay tuned for more from the Blue Rock Law Book Club - Happy Reading!
