As solvency issues begin our team assists its clients in all aspects of private remedies, such as negotiating forbearance agreements and organizing other out-of-court arrangements.  Our team also has extensive experience in more formal proceedings like the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (Canada) and the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (Canada) - either independently or in conjunction with each other or applicable foreign proceedings such as proceedings under Chapters 7, 11, or 15 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
