Virgil has spent his career in a variety of roles, all connected to the beef industry. He grew up immersed in production agriculture on his family’s mixed cow/calf, feedlot and grain farm in Southern Alberta (where he still lives). He has practiced law, held volunteer industry positions, founded a startup and currently works for a large corporation that provides services to the agriculture sector globally.

He is excited to support the clients of Blue Rock Law with his cross-functional business perspectives informed by a deep understanding of Western Canada’s production agriculture.

In his free time, he enjoys working with his wife as they build their own small farming business, chasing around his toddler daughter and coming up with new farm construction projects to start (and less frequently finish).
